Xiaokai is studying at the School of Psychology, South China Normal University. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology. His main research interests are computational modeling of human cognitive tasks by using behavioral data.

Xiaokai’s undergraduate major is clinical in traditional Chinese medicine. He has several years of internship and clinical experience.

Xiaokai promotes R-based data analysis workflows in the social sciences. He tries to provide R-related training and performing data science-related translation. He also organizes data science conferences and events.
